Genesis

Kendriya Vidyalaya Ujjain has started working in 1981 in Govt. Science College for Classes I to VIII (two section each) in a temporary building . Later on in the year 1997 the school has been shifted to its own newly constructed building.

New building of Vidyalaya is situated on Nagjhiri, Engg. College Road, Ujjain Vidyalaya is about 4 KM from Ujjain Railway Station. It is 3 (three) section Vidyalaya.

There are two sections of science stream and one of commerce stream, in which there are around 1800 students. KV Ujjain works as a collaborative unit with 56 well-trained teaching staff, 6 skilled office staff and 8 hardworking outsourcing members.
